Owners friendly. Room next to busy road, noisy at night. Breakfast took long. Slow service made me late. Helpful with taxi info. Old world charm, interesting decor, beautiful garden. No smoking property, lovely outdoor area. Quaint bathrooms. Would stay again.

What a really nice stay, no complains at all. Special hotel with good service in incredible location just next door to Lavenham and Long Melford, both beautiful historic villages, a fascinating garden, with wind chimes and a bubbling brook running at the back of the property and nearby Lavenham. Pleasant and outstandingly accommodating staff in the whole venue.

The hotel is located close to the village of Long Melford, which offers a charming and picturesque setting for a relaxing stay. The staff at this hotel were incredibly hospitable and friendly, making us feel like valued guests in their home. The rooms in this hotel have a unique and historic charm, with low beams and beamed walls that add to the character of the place. The homemade breakfast at this hotel was simply wonderful, with delicious options and homemade marmalade that added a special touch.
The only drawback we encountered during our stay was some noise from the nearby road, which could sometimes be quite loud.
